I always get so caught up planning my party outfits for the Christmas season that I forget to pick something out for the actual day itself. Christmas Day is a really special day in our house and while I will most definitely be waking up in my Christmas onesie (see Cosy Crimbo post for nightwear inspo) I like to have a nice outfit to change into for dinner. It’s important to be comfortable on Christmas Day but with family and friends calling around it’s also nice to look and feel that little bit glamourous. This year I’ve chosen to go with velvet. The outfit below is cosy and perfect for lounging around in but it also looks like you’ve put in effort and has some really beautiful details.
I hope you enjoy,
Until next time,
This playsuit is great to have for Christmas. It can be worn as shown with tights and flats or you could wear it with bare legs and heels for a totally different look.

The shoes are an absolute steal! I got them on sale in Primark for €5. I think the colour is just so vibrant and fun. It looks great with the green velvet and gives the outfit a festive feel.
Shoes €5 Primark/Penneys
The turban is the most expensive item in this post as it is a designer label for Topshop. The label is ‘Her Curious Nature’ and can also be found online. They have some really beautiful pieces. I loved the texture and again I feel that the colour is such a strong contrast with the rest of the outfit. The detailing on the front really makes this a special piece and adds some real glamour to the look.
Turban €60, Her Curious Nature (available in Topshop)
