I was really lucky this week and managed to have a day off when the sun was shining. I did this shoot in St.Stephen’s Green and I am already starting to get excited about Spring/Summer. However, the weather is definitely not reflecting this and we still need to wrap up. I’ve injected a bit of colour and fun into this look to break the monotony of winter neutrals but still kept it warm in corduroy and boots. Waistcoats are a great transition into the season too while the shops are launching their spring collections but you’re still feeling the chill. I’ve popped a slogan t-shirt into this look to add a bit of cheeky fun but kept a long sleeve top underneath for warmth. This week’s OOTD is a real treat featuring plenty of bargains!
Hope you enjoy.
Until next time,
This button front corduroy skirt from Topshop is perfect for channeling the 70s trend of the season. I’ve paired it with this slogan tee from H&M to give it a modern edge. The boots are probably my favourite buy of 2016 so far. This snake print ankle boot is all over the highstreet now and looks great with a midi skirt. I got these for €25 euro in Penneys/Primark and they are a really comfortable fit. The wasitcoat is also from Penneys/Primark and looks great with this outfit. Waistcoats are perfect for layering up and this one will be particularly handy when the weather starts to change.
