Hope you are well. I’m stuck in bed for the week with a chest infection. I got knocked out with pneumonia this time last year so I think I’m just destined to fall ill with the change of weather. I’ve decided to use the time to catch up on some blog posts and this is one I’ve wanted to share with you for a while.
I hope you enjoy this post.
Until next time,
A few weeks ago I was sent a PR sample of the new Sunkiss Tan and Tanning Mitt. It is new to pharmacies in Ireland and I was very excited to try it.
Sunkiss Tan was specially developed for paler skin tones so I was very pleased when I received this. I often find that fake tan can leave an orange hue but Sunkiss has an added pink pigmentation which means it will not go yellow or orange. It also adapts to your natural skin tone giving you the exact glow you’re looking for.
The tan I received was the Sunkiss instant self tanning mist. I have never used a mist before except when getting a professional spray tan so to be able to achieve these results at home was amazing. My first impression of the tan was positive. The smell was pleasant and the application was easy. It simply glided on with no fuss.
I sprayed the mist all over and then rubbed it in with the tanning mitt. The mitt is a doubled sided, velvet tanning mitt and allows for a really even application. The mitt can be washed up to 40 degrees so it can be easily used again.
Directions for use:
- Exfoliate the skin.
- Moisturise dry ares of skin.
- Spray the tan in sweeping movements 6-12 inches from the body and then rub in evenly with the tanning mitt.
The tan develops in 4-6 hours and can be reapplied in 5-7 days for a medium tan.
The tan developed non-streaky and very natural looking. It also faded very well and didn’t leave any patchy areas.
I got a lot of compliments about the tan after application and just loved how natural it looked.
The tan can be purchased here for €12.95 and the mitt for €5.95.
